(2060) Chiron, collective paradigm shifts

The first signs of the transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius began during the last quarter of the 19th century, a few years before the first prediscovery of (2060) Chiron in 1895, through an interest in esotericism and the Eastern religions. Madame Blavatsky founded the Theosophical Society in 1875, whose purpose was to form a universal fraternity of humanity to promote the comparative and unified study of religions, philosophies and sciences, and to investigate the inexplicable laws of nature and the latent powers of the human being.

During the second period of prediscoveries of (2060) Chiron in the 40s of the 20th century, esotericism experienced a rebirth through Alice Bayle's books.

The transition to the Age of Aquarius reached its climax during the discovery of (2060) Chiron, in the late '70s of the 20th century, through an interest in global ecology, in addition to esotericism and Eastern religions. Science also experienced a shift in paradigm through the theory of chaos, which explained emergent phenomena and established unexpected acausal relations.

"[Translated from Spanish back to English:] Every new paradigm implies a principle that had always been there, but which until then we had not recognized, it also includes the old conception as a partial truth, as an aspect of reality, of the way in which things work, without implying that they can not work in other ways, and by virtue of their broader perspective, they enable traditional knowledge and rebellious new observations reconciling their apparent contradictions. The new framework is more useful than the old one. It allows us to predict with greater precision, and it opens doors and windows to new winds of exploration, given the greater power and the wide reach of new ideas, we could expect that it will impose themselves quickly, but that almost never happens [...] The new generation recognizes its strength; when a critical number of thinkers come to accept the new idea, a shift of collective paradigm occurs. When a sufficient number of people who have embraced the new perspective, or who have grown within it, the consensus emerge." (The Aquarian Conspiracy; Ferguson, 1980)

(2060) Chiron is related with collective paradigm shifts, whatever type they may be (resonance 4:17 with Jupiter), like in the movies "Alive!" (1993), "Braveheart" (1995), "The Island" (2005), "The Maze Runner" (2014) and "Insurgent" (2015).

"The Maze Runner" (2014)

Ewan McGregor, actor of the movie "The Island" (2005), has Chiron in Aries (Low Point of 11th Moon-Node House) in conjunction with the Sun, and in trine with the star Antares in Sagittarius (Low Point of 3rd Moon-Node House) and the star Giausar in Leo (Low Point of 7th Moon-Node House).

Shailene Woodly, actress of the movie "Insurgent" (2015), has Chiron in Leo (cusp of 5th Moon-Node House) in the Crossing Point of the Age Progressions (Signs Horoscope / Moon-Node Horoscope), in conjunction with the star Giausar.
